Once I got there, I took a picture of and with the statue the point was next to. I walked through the casino and onto the iconic Fremont Street, where I took a couple more pictures. On my way back to the point, I lost the last $40 in my wallet on roulette (should've bet on black). Despite that, I still feel like a winner. | Once I got there, I took a picture of and with the statue the point was next to. Expedition
After my last expedition went south, I shifted my focus to getting a point that was actually within an inhabited area in the county. The next day's point was reasonably close by, but I decided to skip that one in the interest of making up the ~3 hours I spent in the desert. 2 and a half weeks later, the point came to Downtown Las Vegas, specifically the D Hotel & Casino. More specifically, the drop-off area on Carson & 3rd.
To the best of my knowledge, this is the first successful geohash in Las Vegas (graticule and general area) to be at a casino.
