It's always a nice change of pace when the Geohash lands pretty close to your neighborhood. In this case, I had already ridden my bike to work, but with a slight detour, I would be able to stop at the hash on the way home. If it was a Work-from-home day, it was close enough that I might have walked over (but about twice too far for a Couch Potato HM).
I was able to leave a few minutes early from the office and had already studied the new route home for the day. The one section of Main Street would really be the biggest concern as it can get busy there, but traffic wasn't too backed up and I was able to navigate the section before getting back on residential roads for the rest of the ride. Getting close to the hash, it was back on Main St for a block and then to Winspear where I knew it was in the first block, but not sure exactly where. I pulled over in the shade on the side of the road to pull up the HashDroid App and found I was just short of the hash and 3 houses away.
I pulled up on the sidewalk and tried to get a good screenshot as the locator dot bounced all over the place. Not sure why I had such a bad connection, but I was able to get a decent reading. I saw a very close reading at one point but was not fast enough to capture the screenshot before it jumped again. Oh well, I then got my pictures of the area and headed the rest of the way home.
