This graticule is pretty much centered on the town of Passau. Its southeastern half is in Austria; the northwestern half is mostly Bavaria with a northeastern corner extending into the Czech Republic.

- 2009-04-11 48 13 in a forest above Vichtenstein, about 20km southeast of Passau. Tomcat and Hans from 49 11, and dawidi from 49 12 went there by train and bike in the afternoon.
