Location
The official location is at the edge of what appears to be a glacier up east of Garibaldi, so the alternate is at Bloedel Floral Conservatory, a domed structure filled with tropical flora and birds. It is about equidistant from SFU and UBC, and as it is located at the highest elevation in the city of Vancouver, it's downhill on the way home for everyone. There is an admission fee, but it's less than $5.
Participants
- Robyn was there from 3:15 to 4:45 pm.
- Wade was dragged by Robyn so she would have someone to talk to if no one else showed
Expedition
That was a little disappointing, but we had fun none the less. My only problem is decicing whether this counts as a Saturday meetup for the XKCD-100, seeing as no one responded, I didn't meet anyone I didn't bring, and I didn't attempt the actual coordinates.
A more detailed write up later.
