About me

I'm an artist, but to make ends meet I'm a shipper at a local steel distributor.

I love the idea of random adventure and exploring new places, but am quite limited when it comes to being able to geohash. Read: no gps, no car, living in a graticule where most hashpoints end up in some farmers' field.

I am hoping to be able to hash when it starts to warm up and more hashpoints become accessible, by cycling or otherwise

I'll be spending some time showing my home province some love and fixing the red links for the Alberta graticules.

Upcoming excursions

I'm really hoping for something remotely close, sometime soon. Secretly I want my first achievement to be the couch potato award.

I will also be travelling to southern Ontario for a wedding come the end of May, so if a hash is close, I'll give it a shot.

  • I have found, travelling all over as I do, and being stuck in some pretty nasty graticules with pretty limited transportation, that the geohash will always come to you if you have enough patience. In your case, either the geohash or spring will come soon. Take inspiration from the ru when your geohash is in a dark, snow-covered forest! Good luck. I'm very sorry you weren't active the day I had a lovely August Edmonton geohash in a field. I would have been so thrilled to have you come strolling up. -Robyn 04:13, 6 March 2009 (UTC)
