The hash lies on the cycle path along the state road from Garbenteich to Lich.

I try to hitchhike to the rest area Limes on the A5 and will walk to the hash. And want to be there for a xkcd-meetup

Expedition

I left my castle at 10 o'clock and started to hitchhike at 10:30. I stood in the Dresdener Straße at the bus stop for two hours with a sign for the south, but nobody stopped. Then I decided to go first to the service station Göttingen. After 15 minutes I got a lift and after the change of direction at the service station and another 15 minutes of waiting I got my lift. I arrived with this car at 15:10 at the rest area Limes. Then I walked to the hash. I found the hash one meter beyond the edge of the field. There I arrived at 15:37. I took some photos, walked around and waited for friends to arrive. But nobody did. At 16:20 I left the site and walked back to the rest area. I made a short detour to the Limes. I started to hitchhike at 17:00 and got a lift at 17:30 to the service station Wetterau. There I waited for another hour and then I got a lift to Kassel. I arrived at home at 21:30.
