Expedition
The satellite view was misleading so my approach was long winded. The compensation was some delightful mature woodland with nightingales singing. The wood was very dark indeed and a torch was essential. The field was lighter and the half moon had come out. After reaching the field entrance the long way round, there were tractor tracks between rows of potatoes. On my return, I got into the wrong groove and had trouble finding the exit. I finally emerged into a pub garden. The return to the car completed a circular loop.
