I drove to my sister on christmas and the hash was so close to the highway...
Expedition
Well, I left the Autobahn at Gau-Bickelheim and had a 3 kilometers drive. I left little car, where I had to leave the road and a had to follow a path through some open fields. The thermometer showed -2°C when I left the car, so I hoped for a frozen hash achievement. I just had to walk 800 m, 40 of them into a frozen field. I got below 1m but didn't catch it. Anyway, 1.079m is stil a good catch. Took some pictures, walkedand drove back the same way (except the little detour when I took the wrong turn short time after leaving the autobahn), and continued my drive to Neuwied. Oh, yes: when I came back to the car, the thermometer stil shows -1°C, and this time I took a picture for proof :-)

Just when I did my statistics, I found out, that the hash was in the Landkreis Mainz-Bingen, and by that I have reached hashpoints in this Landkreis in all four Graticules. This is the bigest regional geohashing-achievement I've reached so far:
