After yesterday's lunch expedition, I was presented with another opportunity that was close enough to get it again at lunch. Normally, I'm in the office on Thursdays, but today, Myka the dog had a vet appointment to get a very troublesome lump removed. It was on her leg for years without any trouble, but about 6-8 weeks ago, the vet wanted to see if she could drain it and poked it with a syringe. Nothing came out, but a couple days later, her leg was swollen. We've been fighting a Staph infection since but getting it mostly under control. Now, it's small enough where they can remove it so I was home waiting for their call to come pick her up in the afternoon.

When I saw I could again get to this hash and back within an hour, it was on for another lunchtime drive. Rt 240 at the hash appeared to have very wide shoulders and I thought I could just pull off right at the hash and if the HashDroid app put the blue dot in the right place, I wouldn't even have to get out of the car. Things went well and I found the place without any trouble, and pulled off a driveway before the hash. With the dot in a good spot, I allowed the car to creep up until I got a good reading and took a screenshot. Didn't stay long and made a U-turn as soon as it was clear and headed back home.

Myka's surgery went well and she was out by 15:30, but was weird for the rest of the day while the anesthesia wore off.
