Probably a field or meadow not far from Spielberg station (S 11). Looks like an easy public transport hash from Karlsruhe.
I'm not going, although the location is a little bit special for me: This was (almost) the place where I have been ten years ago with a group, watching the 1999 Total Solar Eclipse. And, unlike almost all other watchers, we actually did see it through a small hole in the clouds. --Ekorren 13:53, 21 October 2009 (UTC)
- Busy during the day. trying this as a sunrise goehash. Sunrise is at 7:56. Plan to take the S11 from Karlsruhe Marktplatz at 6:30, arrives in Spielberg at 7:09. Also, 2009-08-11 48 8 is nearby, so I'll revisit that and leave Spielberg again with the 8:30 train. Koepfel talk 22:39, 21 October 2009 (UTC)
