The Lake Charles, Louisiana graticule is at 30, -93. It extends from Jasper, Texas in the northwest to De Ridder, Louisiana in the northeast, down to the swampland south of highway 10 and its namesake city in the south. Much of the graticule is rural and swampy. The Texas-Louisiana state line, in the form of the Sabine River, runs through the graticule from north to south.
