Expedition

Danatar

No, I didn't give up geohashing. It's just that in the last months, all the hashpoints have been too far or too boring or the weather was bad or I had to work. I looked up the coordinates every day and was disappointed each time.

But now there was finally a hashpoint in reach on a sunny day and I didn't have to work. I took my bike and cycled through Würzburg until I reached the most northern district, Versbach. From there I took the road I knew from another expedition, getting it almost right this time with only a tiny detour, and cycled past the Via crucis straight ahead along fields to Maidbronn. I found the right spot instantly, took some pictures and left before the people from the house next to it could see me and wonder what I did there. Then I cycled the same way back. My plan had been to call the pizza service directly on my route from the hashpoint and pick up the pizza on my way home but I had no money with me and had to go home first. All together the expedition took one hour.
