A number of large cities are split between two or four graticules. Choosing a meetup for people in these cities' metro areas presents a distinct problem, usually settled by vote among active geohashers. Groups in some cities, in particular Chicago, Illinois and Calgary, Alberta, have come up with alternate algorithms to decide the location. It is also interesting to see the different ways that split cities have set up their graticule home pages.
