Nova Scotia? I thought there had to be some NS land in the grat to qualify it for the NS cat. --starbird 21:40, 1 May 2009 (UTC)
- That would be news to me, although of course you may be right. But some of the ocean in this graticule is officially Canadian territorial water, which is why I put the category in. If you went water hashing there, you would be in Nova Scotia. -- Benjw 21:49, 1 May 2009 (UTC)
- That's certainly true. And I may be wrong; but my impression is that we don't generally categorize water (politically, I mean). Certainly the all-water grats haven't generally taken country/state categories. It's not perfectly logical, but it does have the advantage of matching up neatly with the regional hashing rules. If I pull up Category:Wisconsin, say, I get links to all the grats I need to check off to get the regional achievement, and no others. --starbird 04:16, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
- You have a very good point. And water hashes are not exactly common. Hmmm. -- Benjw 14:46, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
- I think you're right. NS category removed. -- Benjw 11:18, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
