Today's Location: [Palm Beach, Florida]

The Palm Beach graticule is home to all of Palm Beach county, about half of Broward county, and parts of some neighboring counties. Portions of this graticule are in the Atlantic Ocean, Lake Okeechobee, and the intracoastal waterway. The southwest portion of the graticule is dominated by the Everglades, a good location for either the MNIMB Geohash or the MNB Geohash. The northwest is primarily lake and large expanses of farmlands which may or may not be accessible. Most locations in the eastern half of the graticule should technically be accessible, but many will land on private property, so may need authorization.

Active Geohashers

Aperfectring - Still waiting for his first successful geohash.

Past Geohashes

Successful Geohashes

None yet.

Unsuccessful Geohashes

2008-06-20 [map] - Aperfectring attempted to reach this geohash, which was in a nature area in Palm Beach Gardens. He was unsuccessful because he was not prepared for a creek crossing and time constraints prevented him from finding another path.

Upcoming Geohashes

2008-06-21 [map] - Near US-441 along Lake Okeechobee, just north of the intersection with FL-76. It is about 75m (250ft) from the frontage road there, so it is a good candidate for the Saturday meet. Miami geohashers may want to attend this one, since theirs is in the middle of the Everglades, about 25km(15mi) from the nearest road.

  • I will be there at about 4PM. aperfectring 17:13, 21 June 2008 (UTC)

2008-06-22 - About 60m(200ft) off of N140th Ave, just north of 47th Ct. N in the West Palm Beach area.
