I received an email from Felix(currently in South Australia so couldn't join me) at 9:30 in the morning alerting me of the geohash on the Hume Highway suggesting I do it for the speed racer achievement. I finished work in doncaster at 18:20 and drove to Cragieburn in the work van. While the van does go a lot faster than my normal geohash transport which is my bike I was a little worried it wouldn't make it to 80km/h. it takes a few hundred metres to get it going that fast when i floor it and that's only if it's flat or downhill and i don't have the aircon on. Luckily there was a good run up from the previous lights and i could make it to 80km/h easily.

When i arrived i drove straight to the hash point and park the car to work out exactly where is was and get a screenshot. Proof of this hash was going to be a little bit tricky as i wasn't going to take a photo of the speedo while driving at 80k. I decided the best system was to open up my GPS navigation app on my iphone which shows speed limit, current speed and map position all at once and record video of the screen using the camera on my work phone(i've subimitted a singly frame from the video for proof). With my phones precariously balanced on the ashtray and the cup holder i took off, the positions of the off ramps and neighbouring streets meant 5 left hand turns followed by a uturn and then a few hundred metres to get up to speed. My first attempt failed because the camera phone fell off and was filming the floor when i got to the hash. My next attempt i made it, and continued on my drive home.
