I'm driving from Platteville, but hope to be there at 4pm for an XKCD meetup!

Expedition

It was an easy drive to Madison; a pleasant afternoon with the sun peeking through more and more after a rainy morning. I pulled into the parking lot at about 4:02 p.m., but had no batteries in the camera. I loaded up and got some photos, leaving an XKCD marker with sidewalk chalk.

Since the location was pretty convenient, and it was Saturday at 4 p.m., I thought there was a chance some other geohashers might show up, so I waited around until about 4:30, listening to baseball on the car radio. [The Brewers eventually lost to the Cardinals, 7-6.] After that, I took on provisions at Costco, Arby's and Half Price Books before heading home.
