Loading dock of a big baking plant, Kentwood, MI

Expedition

I was going southeast anyway to buy a birthday present, and the hashpoint looked accessible and about 5 minutes down the road. The satmap showed it in the loading dock area of the Roskam Baking Company. There was a chance it would be inaccessible or I would be chased out by company personnel. But I figured it was well outside of normal business hours and the main in-and-out traffic for a commercial bakery was probably in early morning, so 9 pm should be pretty safe. That turned out to be the case.

I parked in the employee lot, about 100m east of the hashpoint. It looked like a couple dozen people were at work but the only person I saw was a truck driver reading something while he waited for his load. I walked down the drive past a building extension with a bunch of machinery (compressors?) to the next loading area. The hashpoint appeared to be right next to, or possibly under, a waiting 40-foot trailer. Whenever I got next to the trailer the GPS error went way up and I couldn't really tell where the hashpoint was. I saw less than 4 m error at one point but a little over 4 was the best I managed to capture.

This is expedition number 64 for me, so a 2-to-the-n achievement is called for. (These 64 include 7 not-reached and one puppet-master.)
