Expedition
There were tractor tracks following the field perimeter. These were easy to follow. Unusually there was someone else close to the hashpoint. I think this person was lamping rabbits. Later I heard a shot. I kept myself inconspicuous and perhaps I was not noticed. The hunter was in woodland or the next field beyond the wood. The lamp was very bright so his night vision was probably not as good as mine. I was walking without lights relying on the stars. At midnight I grabbed a screen shot, not wanting to risk an accidental camera flash. My return walk was uneventful.
