A few points:

  • On an ordinary railway day, this would be a pleasant journey from Kings Cross or some Thameslink stations. It looks like there'll be disruptions, but yknow, how bad can it get? I want to get there for 4pm so I will try to leave a bit earlier than I would otherwise.
  • I will bring my Baofeng (a terrible radio, but the only portable I have) and leave it on 145.500MHz when I'm not on the train. I'm not really used to voice communication on the radio but it'll be fun to play with it.

OK this should work. I'm rarely on the air and then usually on PSK31 so my phone technique will be rusty! Depending on timings, I could give you a lift from/back to the station. G4JUV --Sourcerer (talk) 19:31, 25 May 2018 (UTC)
