Weekend of 2012-04-14

  • Friday's is out of the question. Near some buildings in a little town south of Olive Branch, but Street View shows it's behind a big fence topped with barbed wire. Plus, we're prepping for a trip to Nashville for the weekend, and there aren't even any hash points close to where we'll be, so it's a geohash-free weekend... :(

Weekend of 2012-04-07

  • The Saturday geohash in East Memphis is totally feasible. It's in a field just off Raleigh LaGrange road, not far from I-40. There's even a sidewalk and everything. Assuming nobody's built anything there since Google took a picture of it, I think we can finally deflower the East Memphis graticule. It's also my mom's birthday!
