Drove as close as we thought we could get by car (turns out we could have driven exactly to the point) in the forest, tracking through thick bush and crossing over creeks to get to the location. We met some nice, and not so nice locals along the way.

We topped off the expedition with all you can eat pizza hut in Gympie.
