Under High Voltage wires Near Colonial Village Park in Lewiston

Expedition

My girlfriend just bought a house (and closed on Friday) so I was over at the house in the morning helping to take some wallpaper off one of the bedrooms and clean. There's a lot to do, but I'm excited for her. She had plans in the afternoon so we headed out about 13:00 and I ate my lunch I brought on my way to the Geohash. I had to be very careful driving as it was extremely windy and there was a lot of snow blowing around and across the road in places.

As my phone guided me down the roads close to the hash, I was pleasantly surprised to see the road plowed right up to the park. However, I also saw a sign on the gate leading to the area under the wires and knew this would be the closest I was going to get. I could have gotten a bit closer walking across the park, but with the wind blowing as bad as it was, I was happy to stay in the car and just get a couple pictures before driving home.

Interesting note: This is my 50th expedition stymied by Private Property/No Trespassing signs so I'm halfway to the somewhat dubious Posted Achievement.
