I had the day off so after getting some stuff done around the house, I checked the hashpoints and found this was accessible and likely reachable as I didn't see any posted signs on the streetview. I initially was thinking I would be able to pull off to the side of the road by the hash and maybe not even have to get out of the car. Upon reconsideration, I was thinking this is a busy and high speed road so it might be less dangerous to park up the road at the Dollar General and walk over.

Simon, ever the opportunist for a hike, really wanted to come with me and knowing that Erie County forest was on the way, I thought it would be a nice hike and lend a little more meaning to driving out there to the hash. I also wanted to get gas in Springville where it was cheaper so we stopped for our hike on the way out to the hash and did the main loop through the woods. We stopped at a 'Bridge Too Far' over the creek so Simon could play in the cold water for a bit before continuing back to the car. There was not much to note on our walk, and hiking this section of woods semi-regularly, I didn't take any pictures here, but you can see this bridge in a previous expedition's photo gallery.

Getting back to the car, we continued our drive down Genesee Road to Arcade where we picked up Rt 98 South. Getting out of town, I found the Dollar General and pulled into the parking lot and took the first spot closest to the road. After getting out, I decided that was a good decision, because multiple cars were continuously driving by. Getting close to the hash, I was happy to not see any Posted signs along the Hash-Field so we crossed over and finished walking to the hash on the grass away from the road. Zeroing in on the hash with the HashDroid app, I was able to get a good reading and then got some pictures of the area, trying not to be too self-conscious of the cars driving by. Success had, we backtracked to Rt 39 and took that back into Springville to fill up the hash-mobile before heading for home.
