It is on the fields of Can Llevallol, which seem kind of abandoned. So I will approach the are by train, walk there, see if I can sneak in at the coordinates and walk back home. I will also be talking pictures of the mushrooms I find on the way, for a bioblitz that is taking place now, so I will have an excuse if someone asks me what I am doing there ¿^^ I won't be hunting mushrooms as we say (it's kind of a big deal in Catalonia collecting mushrooms, with restrictions in some places and people taking it seriously; maybe it's like this in other places), I will just be taking pictures.
Expedition
Funnily enough, I started walking at the same time as my previous expedition.
Although I consider I know very well the Natural Park of Collserola, walked and biked it many many times, there are always new corners to discover and I get exited when a hash lands here. Today was no different. Went with train to Baixador de Vallvidrera, where the people of Barcelona used to go (and still do) to disconnect and reconnect with nature. Walked around the "swamp" of Vallvidrera, which sadly is very empty and since it is a Sunday there is quite a people along the way.
But soon I started to take narrower paths which were more solitary. First I walked by the spring of Can Llevallol and then I approach the Masia.
The south buildings seem inhabited. Parked car and clean outsides. But the big building (on the pictures) and the fields surrounding it were quite evidently abandoned. So as if nothing happened, looking oblivious, I approached the hash. I have not mentioned it but I was aiming for tron achievement, so I walked the field on one edge to return on the other one.
Locating the coordinates was not difficult and there was almost no dance. Once I had proof, I took the direct way back to the path.
Now I only had to return home. Still found some mushrooms along the way. This is a very nice are of Collserola, with dense creeks and humid streams, you can find very lonely and lost places here that I am planning to discover in the near future ;)
Tron achievement was cleanly achieved and got home right on time for lunch.
