After visiting 2022-06-12 49 8 in Mainz-Laubenheim, I thought that in order to be a step ahead in the morning, I might make it to Rüsselsheim or at least downtown Mainz and spend the night there, so I walked to the bus stop Ginsheimer Straße and wanted to take the bus to Mainz Stadtpark. I saw the bus, but it just ignored my station, leaving me confused.

Since I was tired anyway, I just walked back to the Laubenheim station, and slept in an adjacent park. I didn't bring any sleeping bag (too heavy to carry around all day), but it was a warm night, and my jacket provided shelter. However, it left my face vulnerable, which did not escape the attention of the local mosquito population. We battled each other while a nearby church announced the time every thirty minutes, which brought up memories of 2020-04-28 52 9. (Shoutout to Kripakko, who went camping the next day 2022-06-13 62 29 and had to deal with even more mosquitoes.) I got one or maybe two hours of sleep, and at 5:30, I got up.

I caught a bus that took me downtown, and a train that took me to Rüsselsheim. From there I took another train to Hösbach, and a bus to Waldaschaff Mittlethal. From there, I walked the rest of the distance.

A path led me uphill and into a forest. The coordinates were a bit off the path, it required a few steps downhill to reach them, and a few steps uphill to get back on the path.

Afterwards, I walked back to the Mittlethal bus stop, took the bus back to Hösbach, took the train via Hanau, Fulda, Bebra and Göttingen, and finally arrived home in Hannover at 18:30.
