In the afternoon, I cycled to Messe/Laatzen, took the train via Hildesheim to Bad Salzdetfurth Solebad, and walked the rest of the distance.

I entered the forested hills, and at the Erlengrund, I crossed a small stream on a wooden bridge. It rained. Some of the paths were fairly solid, others were muddy and/or slippery, but thankfully I did not fall.

The Geohash was a few steps off a path, the trees around it have been cut recently, a stump was close to the destination. After locating the coordinates and recording proof, I waited until 16:00 in case someone else was going to come, but that was not the case.

Afterwards, I walked to Egenstedt. This was mostly downhill. By now, the constant rain had found its way through my jacket and onto my skin. Egenstedt does not have a train station, so I walked to Groß Düngen, took the train back to Messe/Laatzen and cycled back home.
