Expedition

After having breakfast, I took a bus to the Wrocław Różanka station. The D3 train to Wrocław Główny was delayed 40 minutes. Well, spending this long in unpleasant weather wasn't the best start to the expedition. Because of the delay, I also missed the D11 train to Legnica I planned to take. After all, I caught a Sprinter D10 that arrived in Legnica only 20 minutes later than I initially planned.

In Legnica, I went to the KGHM copper smelter by bus №15. From there, it was only a 10-minute walk to a small forest nearby. Being there felt kinda wrong – a wide gravel road, no one around and a parked car in the middle of nowhere. While checking the map, I fell into a puddle. From then on, my shoes were soaking wet. I found the coordinates quite easily in the forest. Fortunately, I haven't met anyone from the parked car.

After recording proof, I went back to the bus stop near the copper smelter and went back to the city centre. I picked a coffee in a chain fast-food restaurant and some pretzels at the train station. Trains between Wrocław and Legnica run at least once every hour, so I haven't had to wait long. At Wrocław Muchobór I got off and took a bus home.
