Location

This Geohash is located on a strawberry field near Wehnen, a bit west of the city of Oldenburg.

After work, I took my bike and left Oldenburg heading westward on Ammerländer Heerstraße/Hermann-Ehlers-Straße, passing the villages of Ofen and Bloh, finally arriving in Wehnen near the hash location around 4:30 pm.

To the right hand side of the street, there's a large mental hospital, the Karl-Jaspers-Klinik, named after the Oldenburg-born philosopher and psychiatrist Karl Jaspers. The institution's history started in 1858, its darkest chapter being the period of the Nazi regime, during which supposedly more than 1,500 patients were killed.

To the left hand side there are strawberry and blueberry fields where it is possible to pick up the fruits yourself (see the Kösterhof website for details).

The Geohash was located on these fields, so I left my bike at the street and walked to the exact location. Having arrived there, I took some photos plus the obligatory phone screenshots, then headed back home.
