I'm in town to teach a class this week. The DOW didn't open until after class started, so I didn't check until the students were doing their first set of lessons.

It's in a reachable area and within a decent range of my home away from home, so why the heck not?

Expedition

Class got out right at 5:00pm and the sun was still visible. Gotta love these lower latitudes.

Traffic was unpleasant though. There are few things as watching the ETA on your GPS going up faster than your distance remaining goes down.

It was well into dusk by the time I got there, but eventually, I made it to the spot. Turns out it was better than I thought. The business on the street was a gas station with a diesel pump in back, and the wooded area on the map was easy to navigate despite the heavy tree cover from the satellites.

After a little wandering into the woods, I hit the spot and took a picture of the pump from the woods. I almost forgot until it was too late, but I had missed a GeoSquishy opportunity yesterday and here was a gas station with a squishy-class drink! Woo hoo!
