Really cool to see another air-hash! Was the point inaccessible without a flight, or did you just feel like taking one? -- OtherJack (talk) 00:47, 24 August 2015 (EDT)
- The hash is located within the confines of the barracks. I probably could have asked, but flying seemed easier and more spectacular. --Hermann (talk) 04:14, 24 August 2015 (EDT)
Very cool. Since most people define reaching a hashpoint around "reasonably close with no obstacles between hasher and coordinates" I'd say you definitely reached it, GPS log or not. Since we are awarding ourselves ribbons that don't have any value for anyone than the hasher himself, be proud of that very cool geohash and the flying experience. I'm sure noone will challenge that one as a great geohashing expedition with "coordinates reached". Rincewind (talk) 03:48, 24 August 2015 (EDT)
Also, I will be in Hamburg for work for the first half of November... we should get a hash in at some point! -- OtherJack (talk) 10:05, 24 August 2015 (EDT)
- Quite possible. I could have some spare time in November. Be sure to watch Hamburg, I'll publish my plans there. --Hermann (talk) 11:29, 24 August 2015 (EDT)
Really awesome expedition! Tilley (talk) 01:57, 26 August 2015 (EDT)
Wow! Watched the video at https://ssl.hehoe.de/geohashing/2015-08-22_53_9.mp4 . The pilot definitely understood the concept! Haha! Hello from Ottawa, Canada Jlam (talk) 15:16, 26 August 2015 (EDT) :-)
Awesome Hash! I really love the video ;) I clearly think you deserved the Achievement and you could possibly add the drag-along and probably the admit one? I'm not sure about the second one though. Anyway, great hash! --RecentlyChanged (talk) 03:39, 2 September 2015 (EDT)
