Planning

Elbie can only do it around morning/early afternoon times, having to be back at UBC by 16:00.

This is a sailing geohash if I ever saw one. I might even consider swimming. You can't get blisters from swimming, right? -Robyn 15:40, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

I was planning to do it as a transit-kayak hash: 2009-07-11 49 -123. - Elbie 16:51, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
I am SO down with this. i'll be sailing a small boat from jericho, could probably fit 3 passengers. It also seems pretty clear that we need to do buccaneer geohash for this. maybe we can tow elbie's kayak if there's enough wind ;) Plypkie 17:41, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
Is there anywhere on the north shore good to pick up another passenger? alternatively, can try to work jericho into the timeline of fixing my bike. --Xore 18:11, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
Yes, we could hit land at ambleside beach i think. be prepared to get your feet and lower legs wet. I'll bring an extra life jacket. We'll talk via phone some time today. Plypkie 18:20, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
Sounds good --Xore 18:28, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
Cycling out from your place? Meet you for the ride? Yangman 19:13, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
I'm thinking transit-kayak as well. multi-boat meetup! -- Rhonda 18:08, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
I have plans. Secret plans. And two three backup plans. See you there! -Robyn 18:12, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

Since Elbie has to be back at UBC by 16:00, what do you figure is a good time? 14:00? earlier? -- Rhonda 18:37, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
