Location

Eastleigh, near the railway station, off Campbell Road, hopefully on publicly accessible land. I originally thought it was within the train depot, but when i looked again it seems perhaps you can get to it from behind those houses. In any case, i plan to give it a good try!

Plans

Let's try for a 4pm meetup, hang around for a few hours, hopefully meet up with our friends from Poole, get something to eat in the evening. Perhaps we should bring something to hack our way through if there has been long grass growing all summer. If it is publicly accessible i suspect there will be a lot of rubbish there, so some bin bags might be useful for the geotrashing achievement!

This is, on reflection, one of the more interesting geohash locations I've seen, though not quite picturesque! It's surrounded by train yards and next to a sewage farm. Wonder what it's like living in those houses? Good idea with the geotrash thing. I've just been looking again at the satellite image, and I really can't see any sign of a fence between the hash point and that children's playground - so I'm now rather more optimistic about access! I think this could be good.
