Expedition
Another serendipitous geohashing experience. While visiting Midland for a month while doing a consulting assignment, I checked the peeron map to see if there might a nearby hash. This, after not checking the map for any location for a month or more. THAT SAME DAY the hashpoint was about 1/2 mile out of my normal route from downtown Midland to my hotel on Garfield St.
The only issue was that by the time I left downtown, it was well after dark, and my little cellphone camera couldn't pick up a thing, since the area near the hashpoint is a public park. So my documentation is sketchy.
However, I snapped a quick photo the next day in downtown Midland, somewhat proving that this Houston-based, big city boy, was indeed in Midland at that time.
