The Expedition

This was another easy one. A small detour from the route from my home to my best friends' home for a bank holiday weekend of beer and curry. One false turn had me heading for Wales but after a mile and a U turn, I was back on track.

Spaghetti junction encompasses most of the history of transport in the UK. Oldest is the canal, followed by the railway. There are multiple vintages of roads on different levels of flyover. Presumably underneath all this is the Roman road and under that the tracks of the ancient Britons.

Sadly the hahspoint was a mile away from this history lesson otherwise it would have been a retrohash as I have cruised the canal and travelled the railway route.
