I took a quick sidetrip off the freeway and approached the hashpoint from Airport Way. After being blocked by a hotel fence and the MAX line, I parked in a dodgy fashion on Mt. St. Helens Avenue and tried to look official as I went across the mown vacant field to the hashpoint. I placed evidence of my passing in a nearby weed.

Michael5000 jokingly suggested to Kate, a civilian in this business, that it would be a hoot if she were to visit the hashpoint. To his surprise, she did.
