Originally planned to do two geohashes in one day because for the first time in a long time I had a Sunday off from work!

Expedition

We headed out to the hash via Creswick where we grabbed some lunch which we stopped and ate at lake St. George. There were millions of people out soaking up the rays. It's amazing what people will do when it stops raining for two days. After Creswick we set of for Trentham via Daylesford, then from Trentham we went through to Blackwood and entered the treacherous forest. Our luck ran out when we came to the part of the road closest to the hash, but then our luck filled itself back up when we found out there was a walking track in approximately the right direction. We headed down it and crossed some muddy four-wheel-drive tracks but then the track turned away from the hash when we got about 640metres away from the hash. This was as close as we were going to get because the bush got too thick and treacherous, and I was in my fancy new jeans.

Side-note: we had originally intended to go on to the geohash near Beaufort after this one, try and knock out two in one day. As we pulled away from the state forest the car started blinking at us that it only had 80 clicks worth of free gas left in it so we had to pack it in, either that or spend money on gas, and let's face it, that's not going to happen.
