Plans

Chris_47_8

Just go there by train. I will be there at around 2 pm.

Calamus

Walk the few steps from the nearby institute where I'll need to be anyway. The point is next to the car park entrance behind Swissôtel. I will be there at around 2pm.

Expedition

Calamus

After checking the critical code section one last time, Calamus initiated a complete recompilation. This, along with the subsequent enormous test suite, was going to take almost an hour, so he didn't have the least bit of bad conscience leaving the institute and walking over to the nearby hashpoint.

He had trouble getting a signal; Too densely the gray buildings of Oerlikon stood (and boy, were they ugly). But the map had been clear: The point was right behind Swissôtel, the tallest structure around. He didn't get a proper signal until ten minutes after the appointed time, and when he did, it was two blocks further. Damn. Had he been waiting at the wrong place? So Chris might be off again already. But when he'd reached the other point, the GPS showed the original location again, having obviously needed some time to home.

When he returned, Chris was already there. He had prepared a marker again, so they posted it onto a pillar and went into a bar next to the point to have a hot coffee, which was much appreciated after standing around in the cold.

After an hour of chatting, they parted ways. When Calamus returned to the institute, his tests were still running.
