I'm in! I was planning to go a little earlier, since I'd like to jog to the hash and it would be more comfortable if there's still sunlight and "warm", but I can rearrange my schedule if it helps meeting other geohashers! Great, I'd already given up on you! Welcome back on the grat page's active list.

It will be chilly by then, making jogging a good idea anyway. It's less than 2km from the station to the hashpoint, so I estimate it will take us ten minutes to jog, fourteen if we walk. The decision is yours. But don't bring your best jogging shoes in any case. I suspect there's still some slush on that field.

It's ok, I don't want to "force" you to jog :P we'll meet at the station and then we can walk. I'll jog from and to my house, it's not a problem (and the walk will help me re-gain my breath a bit). I'll be the guy... well, completely dressed as a jogger, in black, with two reflective ankle straps, a LED light attached to my left arm, neck warmer, gloves, and a cap. Expedition

It had been a month since Calamus had witnessed the creation of a new account in the graticule of Zürich. It bore the name Guga2112 and, unfortunately, didn't show any signs of life, which was why Calamus had sadly moved it to the "Inactive" list. But that changed on 2013-02-18, when Guga posted to the planning page. It was a notice of not being able to attend, but hey!

The next day, Guga announced he was going to attend this one. Calamus was happy to meet a new face and left for Regensdorf-Watt. The name was a contraction of two communes, whose name in turn meant "rainy village" and "flooded area", and the hashpoint was in a field, so Calamus had put on his they're-dirty-anyway shoes and advised Guga to do the same.

After a short search at the station, he found Guga, who was a cool Italian and had actually jogged here from Zurich. For communication, Calamus wouldn't have minded practising his Italian, but Guga insisted he had to improve his German, which in Calamus's opinion was already absurdly good (in fact, Guga didn't make a single declension or conjugation mistake the whole evening, even while using words with a difficult morphology). But then again, Calamus could use some German practice as well.

Calamus had memorized the path, so finding the way wasn't a problem. They walked out of the town until they were next to the muddy, soggy field where the hashpoint was. And it turned out the only jogging shoes Guga had were the fancy ones he was wearing. Still, he bravely teetered through the slush, not witout muttering "wife's gonna kill me". Mrs Guga already hadn't been happy when her husband had announced he'd be off for the evening with an unknown guy to a field around nowhere, so dinner had to wait. Calamus never learned how she reacted to Guga returning with his nice shoes essentially having become two mud clods.

After arriving at the hashpoint, Guga and Calamus took their pictures and returned to the road. Fortunately, they found a way mostly covered with snow, which partially cleaned Guga's shoes again.

Before Regensdorf, the two of them parted ways, as Guga was going to jog back and had found a faster route than through town. They bade each other farewell, and Calamus returned to the station.
