Plans

This looked doable! Scott was coming down for Dad's Weekend at Oregon State, and agreed to take us there.

Expedition

Higgs and Scott picked me up at my house at around 11. We drove west until we reached Logsden road, which wound through the woods of west Lincoln and east Dallas counties. We parked just outside of a heavily-logged area and hiked through the woods to the hashpoint. The view was nice! On the way back, we walked around the forest by road. It drizzled a little.

Afterwards we went out to eat Mexican food! I had a deep-fried burrito.

Higgs' Log

There may or may not have been a easier route to the hash if we had followed the road to the other side but I think it was much more fun to march straight up the hill and through wet sword ferns. Also I want to document the fact that before we left my dad exclaimed, "Let's go find some hash!". I told him that he probably shouldn't say that in public places.
