Expedition

Bravissimo594 (talk)

Boppy5 got off of work at 4:00pm, so we were able load up and leave by 4:45. Traffic along I-210 and I-605 looked so bad that we took surface streets all of the way to I-10, which also had slow stretches along the way. We arrived at the hash point at 5:50pm, scribbled with chalk, left a marker, took pictures, and then toured the western part of the Mount San Antoinio College campus with the dogs on leash.

Right near the hash point, a group of people from the college were meeting at an outdoor table, and one of the women in the group wore a bright pink dress (focusing the cleavage of a large bosom stretching the fabric to its limit) and huge platinum blond hair that did not at all fit in with the local attire. Boppy5 spotted her first and told me that I HAD to go look closer, so I discretely went over to a nearby trash can to throw away a bit of used masking tape. As I got closer, another differently-dressed woman came out of the adjacent building and got the pink woman to pose for a photo. About that time, we realized that we were next to the Theatre Arts building of the campus. The fancily clad women must have been costumed for roles in some show like Hairspray.

With that mystery solved, we then took our walking tour of the campus, packed up, and headed home, ready to lose an hour of sleep with Daylight Saving Time starting the next day.
