Location
In the churchyard beside the Mt. Hope cemetery.
Participants
Expedition
Woke early, checked coordinates and found that they were just 20km south of me, easily reached. A short drive through foggy Spokane Valley led into the hills and out of the fog. Reaching the town of Rockford, I hung a right and 3 miles later, arrived on the spot.
This spot is in the corner of the churchyard, with the cemetery proper on the hill to the south. The slight breeze provided a nice sound through the pines, and I was glad I dressed in layers - it was maybe 6 C outside. Snapped a few pictures of the spot, the surroundings, and a screen capture for proof.
Giving serious consideration to a Back to the Future retro visit in this graticule later today - if only I have the time.
