Expedition

This geohash was located very interistingly in the Volkspark, Hamburg's largest park, just beneath the Trabrennbahn Bahrenfeld, a huge harness racing track and across the road from DESY, where we often have to go for our studies (in fact, it was the nearest-ever hash to it). We went there in a break from university, after lectures but before we had a performance with our physics choir. We rode the bus for 25 min, getting off where we always do for DESY, and walked the last 500 m into the forested park. From satellite pictures, we thought the hash lay inside the racing track area and went through a hole in the fence on the way, then at the hashpoint realised that it was located 3 m from it on the other side, right in the middle of the two paths. So Leidenfrost went around and I went over the fence, and we found the coordinates near a small swale. We could see the buildings of the race track from the hash, but not the track itself. After taking pictures we went back and took the same bus to our faculty. Our choir performance went relatively well.
