Expedition

Details on the exhibit - https://www.arts.wa.gov/artwork/?request=record;id=12169;type=101

Thomcat

I work in Bothell, and had to drive north to Everett for baseball. After a quick game, I made the long drive south.

Sunset, a few clouds, fresh clean air, and an easily found public artwork. Parking was not so easily found, but with nobody in the area, I parked illegally nearby.

Every time I got close to the metal elevated staircase, the radius of uncertainty took a huge jump. All that metal must have scattered a few satellite signals. Anyhow, the geohashpoint was not under that structure, so I eventually got a good reading on the spot. Success!

No sign of a previous visitor...

Roz

Frogman suggested to his friend Roz (who lives in Bellevue) that they check out the hashpoint. They did, and left no trace for any subsequent visitors. Some pictures from the expedition can be seen below!
