Plans

This was to be the first of a two part multi-hash, both graticules I haven't visited with accessible(?) points on the Washington side of the river. The goal was to knock out two more Washington graticules and maybe finish a minesweeper along the way.

Expedition

As described earlier, I added the successful 2023-05-06 46 -122 expedition at a mention on Discord. Turns out it was pretty easy, though I wish Michael5000 had read his messages sooner. I also pinged him about this one and the next.

As surveyed, the hashpoint was up a trail leading from a hot springs, though it should also be accessible from another trail under some power lines (the Bonneville dam is *just* south). Initial research indicated the hot springs was no longer publicly accessible (now the home of a private spa) but I wasn't going in there, just hiking. Still, I suspected that route would be blocked...

... and it was. A huge double iron gate with a plethora of no trespassing signs. Alas, I continued west to the next access...

... only to be thwarted once again by no trespass. How does one get to Carpenters Lake? I just want to be Close To You!

Adding insult to injury, geohash droid seemed to happily process my photos and messages, but nothing at all reached our poor wiki. I'll upload the photos after I pull them from the camera, and perhaps a temporary image or two can be found in the geohash droid folders.

Would I have any more luck at the third expedition? 2023-05-06 45 -120 is just east of here.
