With an easily accessible Geohash in the middle of a residential street, I texted J (who was in the office) to see if she wanted to go for dinner in Lockport. She was right that we had too many leftovers, but she was agreeable to find some drinks instead.
After work and eating, we jumped in the car and headed North where we found the Geohash after following the phone GPS. We did have some uncoordinated moments as we got to the Geohash as I was able to get a screenshot of the HashDroid App, but I pulled around the corner to get a picture of the hash itself. J suggested we just go around the block again and get our picture from there where it would be a little easier. Getting back to the hash-site, J also wanted to get a picture of the No Parking sign we stopped next to in order to get our pictures and proof. Technically, we didn't 'Park' we just 'Stopped' so we weren't exactly breaking the law, and fortunately, there was very little traffic so we weren't blocking anyone while we were there.
On the way back, we stopped at New York Beer Project for a celebratory beer before heading the rest of the way home.
