The Talking Rock, GA graticule is at latitude 34, longitude -84. The graticule is so named because the town of Talking Rock is just about exactly in the center. The graticule is home to many of Atlanta's northern suburbs. Bordered on the west by I-75 and on the east by I-85, the area is densely populated in the southern half, and rural in the northern half.

The extreme northern edge of this graticule currently includes a bit of Tennessee and North Carolina.

Activities

Friday August 1 2008 I NWoodruff work about a mile from this GeoHash. I will be attempting this hash at aprox 12:00 noon local time. Expected attendance = 2. Please update. You can find the report here. I also qualify for the Virgin Geohasher award.

Saturday August 9 2008 I NWoodruff Made it to the dirt road entrance at 4:10pm local time. I looked to me as a private driveway so I didn't drive up it. I did park on the side of the road and walked up it about 30 feet. I could see other houses with people outside so I didn't go any further. I waited till about 4:30pm local time to see if any one else would show up. I left with out taking pictures. You can find the report here.
