:No, the channel was mainly in the area I needed to get across for the hash. It was muddy and there was tall flax on the other side. I probably would have attempted if I had you to convince me but I just wasn't confident. And I had a pile of Railway workers peering on wondering what I was doing. Also, took me a while to find the path to the summit too: it's not exactly a well worn track! Found it though! Old Baldy awaits our adventure! 5-6 hours some random reckoned, 1521 m, 800 m ascent - awesome! - No, the channel was mainly in the area I needed to get across for the hash. Greenslime 14:11, 5 December 2011 (EST)
