Saturday vs. Sunday

Has anyone else noticed whether Sunday is (becoming) more popular than Saturday, for geohashing in general or meetups in particular?

I don't know, and I'm not sure there's enough data to compute. In my graticule we have so few usable geohashes (two this month so far) that we take whatever we can get. It might be possible for someone to run a program on the database, if it's possible to find all the Expeditions and parse the dates. -Robyn 17:24, 25 February 2009 (UTC)

I'm not sure what gave Benjw the gonads to change the main page image that no one has ever dared touch... but thanks! I had recently looked them up and noticed they hadn't participated in a very long time. Bright and sunny isn't a requirement for me, but having white-balance that looks like they're on our planet is nice. Juventas 04:39, 16 May 2009 (UTC)

IMO the new picture is not an ideal illustration for a Saturday meetup, since it took place on a Monday. --Fippe (talk) 12:31, 23 March 2022 (UTC)

Tbh, the first thing I checked was also the date. Now this would be a proper Saturday meetup with picture included ;) (the picture part is the not so easy to find). --SastRe.O (talk) 07:47, 27 March 2022 (UTC)
