I didn't think I had any chance of breaking the Atlanta 2009 most active record with 57% land and 43% ocean and only 28 days. On average, in a 31 day month 17 or 18 days would be land geohashes and not all of those would be reachable. I had an incredible run of luck and the sunniest and driest weather on record. I usually get at least one winter illness but this year I escaped. All but one of the land geohashes were reachable. Towards the end of the month it did get quite exciting as the tension built - could it be done? Did I have fun? Oh yes! And I hope it spurs other graticules to aim higher and outperform an overweight 61 year old. --Sourcerer (talk) 11:09, 10 March 2015 (EDT)

Hey there Jevanyn, thank you for digging up that expedition site, I forgot about it already, but now it's fixed :) --RecentlyChanged (talk) 15:39, 12 March 2015 (EDT)

Re: Maps

Hi there Jevanyn, thanks for the message!

I'm not active, I just tried to reach a few hashpoints back in 2010 and then forgot about the site, so the mail notification about your message came up as a surprise. Maybe I'll add "reaching a hashpoint" to my list of things to do in 2014 :). Ivan (talk) 15:47, 5 January 2014 (EST)

is linked to by a lot of pages. Why do you want it deleted? --joannac (talk) 18:39, 23 March 2014 (EDT)

I don't even remember why I was looking at it. It must have been on one of the "special pages" lists. Do you know if the bot that auto-fills graticule pages is still running? It used to look for changes in "All Graticules" but that page is deprecated now. -- Jevanyn (talk) 08:41, 24 March 2014 (EDT)

Hackensack

Sorry, just saw this now. I'm definitely down though! What time did you have in mind? I also need to figure out how to best get there but I think I can handle that. Also, I wouldn't mind knocking on their door and going for the ambassador ribbon, if the circumstances seem right... -- OtherJack (talk) 12:47, 31 December 2014 (EST)

Pokemon Geohash

I also thought of this but in the context of "Pokemon! gotta catch'em all". This ribbon could be for a week, month or year. It would be awarded to a graticule where there was a successful expedition to every land geohash for the time period. Now we can all start arguing about the definition of a week! --Sourcerer (talk) 20:31, 16 February 2015 (EST)

In February, no less
